From micro-stakes tables at RM 0.10/RM 0.25 all the way up to high-stakes action, ekplus8 delivers a smooth, fair, and enjoyable online poker experience for Malaysian players at every skill level.
A wide range of betting limits available, suitable for both new players and seasoned veterans.
Poker is far more than a game of luck. Anyone who has ever sat at a poker table knows that skill, strategy, and the ability to read your opponents matter far more than chance alone. That is why poker remains one of the most popular card games in the world — and now ekplus8 brings that experience directly to your phone or computer screen, wherever you are in Malaysia.
Ekplus8 offers a wide range of poker variants including Texas Hold'em, Omaha Hi, Omaha Hi-Lo, and Short Deck Hold'em. Each variant comes with its own set of rules and strategies, keeping every session fresh and challenging. For players new to poker, Texas Hold'em is the ideal starting point thanks to its more straightforward rules compared to other variants.
At ekplus8, players wager real money against other players from across Malaysia — not against a computer system. Every decision you make at the table is read and responded to by a real human opponent, making each hand you play more meaningful and more challenging. The ekplus8 platform uses an independently certified random number generator (RNG) to ensure every card dealt is completely fair.
One feature ekplus8 members consistently highlight is its competitive rake. Rake is the small commission taken from each pot as a platform fee. At ekplus8, rake starts from just 3% — among the lowest in the Malaysian market. That means more money stays in players' pockets compared to other platforms that charge higher rake.
For players who prefer structured competition, ekplus8 hosts regular weekly poker tournaments with attractive prize pools. The weekly tournaments offer prizes of up to RM 50,000 with affordable buy-ins starting from just RM 20. Alongside the weekly schedule, Sit & Go tournaments are also available, firing off as soon as enough players are seated — ideal for those who don't want to wait for a fixed start time.
Deposits and withdrawals at ekplus8 are designed with Malaysian players in mind. You can fund your poker account via Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, or FPX online banking through services such as Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. All transactions are processed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) with no hidden fees. Winnings withdrawn to an e-wallet are typically processed within just 5 to 15 minutes.
Ekplus8 also provides a rakeback feature for active players. Rakeback is a percentage of the rake you have paid that is returned to you as a loyalty reward. Active ekplus8 members can enjoy up to 30% rakeback depending on their level of activity. The more you play, the more you save through the ekplus8 rakeback program.
If you're new to poker, ekplus8 offers free play-money tables where you can learn the rules and pick up basic strategies without risking a single ringgit. Once you feel ready, you can move to real-money tables with a minimum deposit of just RM 5 at the micro-stakes level. This makes ekplus8 the perfect choice for Malaysian players looking to start their poker journey at their own pace.
The ekplus8 poker platform features a clean, responsive interface accessible directly through any web browser on your smartphone, tablet, or computer — no software downloads required. Smooth card animations, detailed player statistics, and intuitive action buttons make playing poker on ekplus8 an enjoyable, hassle-free experience.
Whether you're a casual poker player just looking to have fun or someone serious about sharpening your skills and earning extra income, ekplus8 has everything you need on a single platform that is secure, fair, and built for Malaysian players.
